To my colleagues

15 February, 2007 (05:01) | Internship | By: Peter Paul

As today is my last working day I prepared the following letter which should be posted on the company bulletin board system. I wanted to share it outside of the company as well though, so here it is.

Dear Colleagues,

Has it been more then 5 months already? When I just arrived, every week seemed to be a month as I was treated to one fascinating experience after another. The culture, the history, the food and of course, the people were all so exotic and impressive and yet always somewhat similar as well. These last few months and weeks however seem to have flown by as I have become more and more accustomed to life in this thriving ‘centre of the world’ (δΈε›½).

I would like to thank you all for making my stay here such an enjoyable one. It has been a pleasure working with you and I have learned many, many things thanks to your patience and the opportunities I received.

Let’s stay in touch; here’s my personal contact information:

Be well, do good, and have a happy Spring Festival!

With the fondest regards,

Time flies, waiting for nobody. While the memory will be the softest part of the heart, that tells you the truth. Farewell, pal. As you knew, you had friends now in China.

Currently, you are the tallest one of my colleagues~~

I remember that it was hard to you to use chopsticks to get the bean jelly (ε››ε·?凉粉) in the DengJiaCai. And you did enjoy the food very much at that time.

Hope to meet you again in China/Holand and hope you can enjoy more and more Chinese food in the future.

All the best!

Although time flies, memory still leaves.
Although body leaves, soul already experiences.
Wish you will experience more in your life and leave more in your memory.

Take care Peter, have fun in Beijing and I’m sure we will run into each other sometime in Holland.
